Sydney Beachouse Backpackers YHA is a popular beachside hostel offering deluxe accommodation in Sydney. In fact we were “Winner of the 2000 NSW Award for Excellence in Tourism” AND we are rated * * * * (4 stars) by AAA tourism for backpacker facilities. We are located at Collaroy Beach, right in the middle of Sydney’s spectacular Northern Beaches, where the lifestyle is the envy of most Australians. Our facilities, which include dorm rooms and private twin, double and family rooms cater to backpackers, students, couples and families on a budget. For your entertainment: We have a solar heated swimming pool with BBQ area, TV room and separate video room, games room with pool table, ping pong table and arcade games. We also offer free bike, surf board and body board hire. For those that want a true Australian experience we also offer free didgeridoo lessons once a week. For your convenience: We offer high speed internet access, wireless access, print and fax service, snack and vending machines, pay phones, tours and travel information and many job listings too. Cafés / restaurants, surf shops, post office, cinema and convenience stores are no more than a two minute walk from us. For your comfort: Your comfort is our priority and therefore we offer free cutlery, linen with doonas / duvets and air conditioning. We offer private double, twin and family (with ensuite) rooms too.

Getting There
FROM SYDNEY AIRPORT: Shuttle buses running from airport MUST BE PRE BOOKED Beachside Shuttle 02 9982 2757 FROM SYDNEY (CITY) BY BUS: Bus Number L90 (Palm Beach) from Railway Sq at Central Or Wynyard Station other bus numbers 188 or 151. Get off bus at Collaroy Beach main stop and walk to the traffic light where you will find yourself on the corner of Collaroy Street. BY FERRY OR JETCAT Catch the ferry or jetcat from Circular Quay to Manly. Ferries and Jetcats run from 6.00am to midnight. From Manly catch the 151, 155 or 157 buses. FROM MANLY BY BUS: Catch the 151, 155 or 157 buses at Manly Wharf. Get off all buses at Collaroy beach shops. Buses run all day and night.
Car Parking
We have FREE secure car parking available. We cannot guarntee car spaces as this service is provided on a first come first serve basis.

Check-in Procedure
Please present photo ID upon arrival. If you arrive after reception has closed, please follow the instructions on the front door to find the Night Manager. He will check you in and take you to your room.
